Yala is a province located in the southern region of Thailand, bordering Malaysia. It covers an area of approximately 4,521 square kilometers and has a population of around 582,000. The province is divided into 8 districts: Mueang Yala, Betong, Bannang Sata, Kabang, Krong Pinang, Raman, Than To, and Yaha.
Yala province is known for its rich cultural heritage and diverse natural ecosystems, including forested mountains, wetlands, and beaches. Some of its popular tourist attractions include the Betong Hot Spring, the Yala Rajabhat University Museum, and the 4,000-year-old Phra Mahathat Chedi Phrae Borommathat.
